Milani TERRA SOLE (04) Baked Powder Blush Swatches & Review

A short while ago Milani gave away their Baked Powder Blush in Terra Sole to the first 10,000 people who signed up for it on their Facebook page. I believe they even extended it to MORE than 10,000 people because some users were having issues getting the form to load (wish a certain other brand had this type of customer service!)

The confirmation email came and about 2 weeks later I had the blush in hand. I was super excited because I cannot find these ANYwhere locally and I had heard great things. I don't know why my CVS doesn't keep a decent stock, but from the display it doesn't really look like they ever had them =( Milani is so awesome for giving fans the opportunity to try out their items for FREE!

Without further ado.... Milani Baked Powder Blush in Terra Sole!

From the Milani Website:
A luxurious powder blush that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth application leaves your face looking healthy and radiant all day.
NET WT. 0.12 OZ / 3.5g e

Glide brush through color and lightly tap off excess powder. Lightly apply to cheeks, forehead, chin and/or nose and blend well for a sun- kissed look. To use wet (only for shimmer shades), lightly put water on brush and glide brush through color, then apply to cheeks, forehead, chin and/or nose.

Terra Sole is extremely pigmented. In the swatch above the left side finger swatch was ONE light swipe. The swatch on the right was from the included brush. I swiped it on the blush once and did one swipe front, one swipe back on my arm. When applying this shade to your face you want to be very careful because of the awesome pigment. You can always build up the color to your liking.

I thought that Terra Sole was nice and soft, and blended well. This will be a great Fall shade. I wasn't TOO crazy about the brush, but it was a bit smaller than those that Philosophy includes, so it was easier to use and control. I love that it comes with a mirror!

My only disappointment? That these aren't available anywhere near me =( I'd love a peachy coral shade and a light pink. They are available in the Milani online store, but I like to check things out in person before I buy, just to make sure I'm getting the color I'm lemming.

The Milani Baked Powder Blush retails for $7.99 and you can pick them up at any drugstore that carries Milani (such as CVS). Unless you live by me lol

Available in 9 shades.

***This product was sent to me for free because I was one of the first 10,000+ to sign up on their Facebook page. They also just gave away a lip color in honor of the fourth. If you'd like the chance to win one of these items for yourself, make sure you follow Milani on Facebook and Twitter and watch for their posts!

Me getting this item for free had NO bearing on the review. All opinions are honest.

I love all these Facebook promotions!! It's hard for me to find Milani at alot of my drugstores too, I think my Target has the biggest selection? I'll have to look for these baked blushes :)
