Recently, a fellow blogger, Product Doctor, hosted a giveaway. The winner got to pick the Edward Bess shadow of their choice. Freaking AWESOME. Of course I entered. Edward Bess is a brand I'd heard of, but was hesitant to try out because - #1 I'm pretty loyal to way too many high end brands as it is, and #2 all of my money tends to go to them lol
Anyway I WON that giveaway! Immediately I hopped on to NeimanMarcus.com and checked out the colors that Edward Bess had to offer.
From the NeimanMarcus.com website:
Ultra-Luminous Eye Shadow
Dress the eyes in luminous color that's incredibly smooth to the touch.
Ultra rich texture adds depth and dimension. Sleek designer compact complete with applicator and mirror.
.07 oz
About Edward Bess:
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Edward Bess studied theater at Manhattan's Professional Performing Arts School and lived in London's fast-paced world of modeling before founding his eponymous cosmetics line in 2006. An instant hit with celebrities and fashionistas, his sought-after line features timeless style and flattering colors.
Storm is such a beautiful color. An icy cool purplish taupe. It actually reminds me of a softer and smoother version of MAC Shale, but I don't have that color in my stash anywhere to compare side by side.
The pigment of this shade is just glorious. It rubs on your eyes like butter, but won't melt away as fast ;) With a little bit of UDPP (or your fav primer!) this will stick around all day long.
Storm is new to the Edward Bess family and retails for $30. You can pick it up at Neiman Marcus. I do not know if it's limited edition, but I wouldn't wait until it's too late to find out. If you didn't purchase this shade, it'd be a major regret.
