Wet N Wild ENAMORED 922 Lip Lacquer Swatches and Review

Wet N Wild is quickly becoming an affordable drugstore go to makeup brand for the masses.   They've upped their game on all products and are steadily releasing cult items.  Their Lip Lacquer is no exception, and I'm pleased to be able to share Enamored with you today!

From the Wet N Wild Website:
Two-in-one lipstick provides full-coverage color and a brilliant glossy shine.  Creamy color moisturizes lips while light-reflecting particles give a luminous sheen.

Enamored is a shade of very frosty pink.  The formula on this lipstick is very moisturizing, more than you'd think from the frostiness.  The above swatch was taken with nothing underneath and nothing on top, so if you want to tone down the frost effect you could add a cream gloss on top.

I love the packaging this is in.  The tube is the perfect shape for lipstick application, as it's not too large and is nicely rounded.

Wet N Wild Lip Lacquer is available in 9 shades and retails for $2.99.  You can pick this up at your local drugstore or Ulta.

Wet N Wild I HEART MATTE Eyeshadow Palette Swatches, Review, and EOTD

Wet N Wild has answered your prayers and released a palette solely of Matte eye shadows!  In the I Heart Matte Eyeshadow Palette there is a shade for everyone, whether you're bold or smoky, brazen or neutral, ANYONE can use this palette.

The shades of the I Heart Matte Eyeshadow Palette are swatched above using no primer.  Matte eye shadows can sometimes be hard to work with, but I didn't really have an issue with the ones in this set.  Probably the most difficult to get a nice payoff from was the purple shade, but if you use a firm brush you can pack it on and get it as deep as you'd like.  There was a BIT of fall out when using this, the most being from the black shade.

Generally, I wouldn't use ALL matte shades together in the same eye look, but for the sake of following the directions I decided to apply the shades as Wet N Wild instructed on the back.  For both sides I used all four shades and represented the "Wild Look".  I used no liner for the looks so the focus would be more on the shadows, but I did add in a bit of mascara so that it wouldn't look so blah.  For the colorful look I used Le Metier de Beaute Anamorphic Lash Mascara in Midnight Blue, and for the neutrals I used Dior Diorshow Mascara in Mitzah (and, yes, I understand the irony in using really expensive mascara with a really affordable palette lol).

Left Side (aka Colorful!):

 Right Side (aka Neutral!):

The Wet N Wild I Heart Matte Eyeshadow Palette is exclusive to Walgreens and is available for $4.99.

Wet N Wild COMFORT ZONE 738 Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection Swatches and Review

Well this post was supposed to pop up yesterday, sorry about that!  I'm not sure why bloggers scheduled posts absolutely never work for me, but at least we're getting it up early today!  (side note, did everyone set their clocks back an hour?!)

I'm so excited to be able to bring you the Wet N Wild Comfort Zone Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection.  I remember when people first started flashing these off on their blogs.  I couldn't find them ANYwhere.  Finally, when Ulta started to carry Wet N Wild, there they were!  I grabbed one and definitely intend on going back for the others.  Of course, since then, they've finally shown up at my local CVS.  Doh.  LOL At least I won't have to travel to pick up the other ones!  I still have yet to see the baked or the matte sets, but my eyes are peeled!

What the Wet N Wild website has to say about the Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection:
Eight dynamic, perfectly color-coordinated shades with high pigment and pearl for ultra-impact color. Shades can be used together or individually to create an endless variety of looks.

Comfort Zone is a great set of eight shadows all in one palette.  The left side features a neutral and brown set to create a toned down or night out smoky look.  I am in love with the dark brown definer shade, look at those sparkles!  The right side features a beautiful set of greens.  The brow bone shade is my fave from this side, it's just so silvery green and interesting.  And doesn't the definer shade remind you of the MAC Green Brown pigment?  I don't have the two to compare, but I used to have a sample a long time ago and this made me think of it.

These were very easy to swatch and only required one finger swipe!  Very soft and buttery except the crease shade on the green side.  It's was also only one finger swipe but was the only shade that felt a bit chalky.  It still was very easy to work with on the eye.  Much like the trios and 6 shadow palette these remain very pigmented and well worth over and above their price point.

I do plan on doing some eye looks with this palette, but unfortunately I'm feeling a bit under the weather, so they'll have to be in a separate post.

The Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection retails for only $4.99 and is available at your local drugstore as well as at Ulta!

Wet N Wild EGGPLANT FROST 417F Wild Shine Nail Polish Swatches and Review

Post Numero Due for Wet N Wild Saturday is the Wild Shine Nail Color in Eggplant Frost (or 417F).

What the Wet N Wild website has to say about Wild Shine Nail Color:
Just like that favorite top in your wardrobe, it's always better to have it in more than one color. With a wide range of trendsetting shades from rich crèmes to bold metallics to vibrant effects, you can find all your favorites and add new ones to your collection. Applies quickly and easily leaving a brilliant, super-shiny finish. Formaldehyde, toluene, and phthalate free.

Eggplant Frost is a GORGEOUS, frosty polish with an eggplant jelly base and flashy shimmers of blue throughout.  I didn't expect to love this color as much as I do on the nail.  It didn't call out to me TOO much in the bottle, which is why it's taken me so long to get a swatch up of it.  The formula was a bit thin, but didn't run all over the place.

I used 3 coats for the swatch photo, but for some reason it didn't adhere to the pinkie nail as well.  I didn't do anything differently care wise, but perhaps the coats on the pinkie were just super thin?  It's obviously not the polishes fault because the other 3 nails look uniform.

Wild Shine Nail Color retails for $0.99 and is available in 27 shades.  You can find these products at your local drugstore as well as at Ulta!

Wet N Wild PINK SUGA' 900B Mega Last Lip Color Swatches and Review

Happy Wet N Wild Saturday!  LOL I'm not sure if I will make this a weekly thing, but I thought it would be fun to devote my posts today completely to Wet N Wild products!!  I have some amazing core items to share with you today, and please feel free to let me know if there is any Wet N Wild that you'd like to see swatched and reviewed and I'll do my absolute best to track it down and get it up here for you.

For my first item I have the Mega Last Lip Color in Pink Suga' (or 900B).

Here is what the Wet N Wild website has to say about Mega Last Lip Color:
Lips take center stage! This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 Vitamins A & E help smooth lips.

Pink Suga' is a peachy orange super creamy lipstick.  It's rather thick and lasts quite well if you're not eating or drinking.  The name is misleading, but Peach Suga' doesn't roll off the tongue as well, right? ;)

The pigment is fabulous, especially for such an affordable lippie.  I did have to make sure it was evenly distributed, but the lip swatch you see above it just the lippie, no balm underneath or anything!!  I thought it laid rather nicely and wasn't cakey or troublesome at all.

Mega Last Lip Color retails for $2.99 and is available in 20 shades.  You can find these products at your local drugstore as well as at Ulta!

Wet N Wild GREEN Coloricon Eyeliner Swatches and Review

One of my favorite makeup items is Eyeliner.  I love how it frames the eyes and makes them POP.  Wet N Wild makes a nice liner in a variety of colors that is extremely affordable and easy to use.  Today I have the Green 662B Coloricon Eyeliner to share with you.

Wet N Wild Green Eyeliner pops more teal on the eye.  While it went on smoothly it didn't have a deep pigment (I had to layer quite a bit on this shade to get a good application).  I applied this to my waterline for the photo, but I've found that the Wet N Wild liners tend to migrate quite a bit when used there.  I never have problems with the upper lid, and think as long as you use a good base you should be fine.  For the price, I say they're pretty decent.

Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeliners retail for $0.99 and are available at most drugstores and, recently, at Ulta!

Wet N Wild BLACK MAGIC and CREEPY PUMPKIN Nail Polish Swatches and Review - Fantasy Makers

Whew. I thought I missed out on Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers! I saw them weeks ago at Ulta and, since I hadn't seen swatches yet, didn't think I'd need them. Then, not one day later, did I see swatches and NEEDED to have 2 of them, Black Magic and Creepy Pumpkin.

Creepy Pumpkin is a rather sheer but beautiful shimmery orange jelly polish. It's actually a bit lighter in person than in the photo. I used 3 coats for the swatch, but could have gone with 4.

Black Magic seems to be the heavy favorite from Nail Polish fanatics! It's a black base with very slight multi-colored verryyyy mini shimmers. I used 3 coats in the swatch, but really only needed 2!

Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers Nail Polishes retail for $1.99 each. They have been popping up for weeks now, but they've only recently been seen by me locally. If you thought you missed out, don't worry! They might STILL be on the way!
