On Tuesday I went on a little excursion with my friend Falyn. Every once in awhile we like to meet up at the mall for lunch and a little shopping. And, lets face it, we had coupons to Coach that were burning huge holes in our pockets.
At Coach, being without the kids, was amazing. It was so nice to take the time to actually look around and try on the bags.
I ended up coming home with this bag, the Coach Madison Ocelot Op Art Marielle Drawsting in Brass/Brown. The choice was largely based off of that side pocket, which in the store I called "the fun little happy pocket". I just thought it was neat and I'm always looking for places to stick my cell and keys so I'm not digging around a huge purse all of the time.
I'm a little on the fence with this bag. I LOVE the look of it, but I actually wanted the Coach Madison Ocelot Op Art Maggie Shoulder Bag in Brass Brown. I was told in store it only came in the silver/grey, but when I came home to look online I found it in the brass/brown...
DH says the bag doesn't look like something I'd carry. He says the Maggie looks like something I'd carry. So, I'm unsure what to do. The bag I reallllllyyyy wanted was the Coach Flagship Leather Tote in Brass/Curry. Like.. I die for it. But it's WAY out of my price range =( I also had my big heart set on was the Coach Madison Embossed Python Accordion Zip Wallet.
I was also lucky enough to find these flip flops, the Coach Kasey Flat, in my size, which NEVER happens lol So I picked them up too since they were on sale.
Another score was made in Nordstrom while I was waiting for Falyn to arrive. I found this Marc Jacobs bag buried underneath a bunch of Coach bags on the sale table. It was the bag I'd been lusting after all summer but couldn't bring myself to buy on SALE. Black wasn't the original color I wanted, it was some sort of cream shade, but black works more for me in the Fall/Winter months.
I love the pockets and the slouch of this bag. It fits a ton of items yet still stays a small and easy to carry. The whimsical interior is a fabulous touch to counter the black exterior.
Falyn and I also visited the various makeup counters and all that good stuff. I'll be reviewing everything soon enough ;) My makeup haul wasn't as big since I majorly splurged on bags.
I know I normally post on beauty products, but purses are another BIG LOVE of mine, so from time to time ya gotta deal with that too ;)

Sunday's Ulta Haul Featuring OPI, Urban Decay, Zoya, & NYX
On Sunday, after hubby made brunch and washed the kitchen floor, (isn't it awesome that after you get married all you want is your kitchen floor washed?! It's my most HATED chore so I'm SO happy he did it! Best hubbster ever!) and my daughter was napping... I decided to take a little mommy time and hit Ulta.
My Ulta is about 30 minutes away and REALLY hard to shop at with 2 kids in a double stroller. Navigation isn't easy, plus it's in a plaza type thing outside of the mall so to park and work the double stroller over there is no small feat. I rarely get to go and thought Mother's Day was the perfect opportunity to weasel some time for me ;)
Yes, that is the Urban Decay Quinceanera Bag. Seriously, I've loved it since I first saw it online. I thought I could wait til Sephora put it on sale, I really didn't think it would sell out, since $26 for a makeup bag is a little... hrm. High. This bag is REALLY beautiful, though. You really need to see it to believe it. The interior is HUGE. I'll stop trying to justify this purchase, and I'll do a separate post on it later ;)
I had NO idea the OPI Pirates of the Caribbean collection had launched there. It looked like they just put it out that day, there was a ton of Silver Shatter (probably trying to keep up with the demand that was Black Shatter) but not so much of the colors. I got the last Sparrow Me The Drama. In addition to the Silver Shatter and Sparrow Me the Drama I also grabbed Mermaid Tears. The other colors weren't all that WOW in person, and my budget isn't unlimited.
And for SOME reason my Ulta had a few Zoyas! They had 3 from the Intimate Coll, and then a few that were just random and summery (though none from the new summer collections that just came out). GEMMA was there! My #1 Zoya lemming!!!
And of course NYX! I really want to expand my NYX collection and bring you more of that. I'm extremely impressed by what I've seen of their products so far. On this trip I picked up Stockholm Soft Matte Lip Cream, Jumbo Lip Pencil in 716 Brown (which is weird, because it looks Coral to me...), and Jumbo Eye Pencil in 617 Mocha.
In the coming weeks I'll be doing swatch photos and reviews of all of these products, so be on the lookout for that!
I hope you all had a GREAT weekend, and to those who celebrated, a great Mother's Day!!!

MAC Venomous Villains Haul, Review, & Lipstick Swatches
(pics are clickable)
FINALLY... I'm here to bring you my MAC/Disney Venomous Villains Haulage. Right now I only have swatches of the 2 lippies I got, simply because it's GROSS outside and I couldn't get decent shots. I was literally running all over the house trying different lighting. Nothing was working out. I think the lippie swatches turned out ok, so I'm posting them, however I will still try again tomorrow... hopefully we'll get some sunshine!
From this collection I picked up:
Cruella De Vil (101 Dalmations)
~ Darkly My Dear blush (this was NOT on my original list, but in person it's GORGEOUS... so happy! PS - it's in a seperate pic because I ordered it online and it showed up today, luckily the same day as the actual launch, but later than when I initially took pics lol)
~ Innocence Beware! Lipstick (cremesheen, reminds me a bit of 2n, tho I don't have that anymore to compare it to)
~ Devilishly Stylish Lipglass (haven't checked out the lipglass yet, will review when I swatch!)
Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
~ Revenge Is Sweet Lipglass
~ Bad Fairy Nail Lacquer (plan on swatching tomorrow, will review then. I didn't go for any of the other Lacquers because I have their Orly dupes)
Evil Queen (Snow White)
~ Bite of an Apple Blush (TBH this looked bright as heck in swatches and not really my style, but there was such hype I needed it lol will review on swatches)
~ Sinister Lipstick (also not on my original pre-order list. I swatched this at Nordies and was IN LOVE. It's the perfect fall shade. Don't let the color in the tube fool ya! It's a luster so it's super sheer on and you can build it up, in the swatch photo I REALLY had to work to get that color)
~ Strange Potion Lipglass
I didn't grab anything from Dr. Facilier - I've never seen the Princess and the Frog, but his part of the collection really didn't speak to me. Was not impressed online OR in person.
Without further ado, here are the pics:

L-R Innocence Beware ls, Devilishly Stylish lg, Revenge Is Sweet lg, Sinister ls, Strange Potion lg, Bite Of An Apple Blush, Bad Fairy np

Darkly My Dear Blush
Lipstick Swatches:

L-R Sinister, Innocence Beware
MOST of this collection is sold out online at maccosmetics.com - keep checking for restocks (sometimes it happens!), and don't forget to check out other sites like macys.com, nordstrom.com ... even bloomies and dillards! Good luck!

MAC Fabulous Felines Haul & Swatches
(pics are clickable for full size viewing)
FINALLY MAC Fabulous Felines arrived today!!
First things first - haul photo!

I listed what I bought in this post and paid for the 2 day shipping, hoping I'd have the items for Thursday when FF launched in MAC stores and counters. Obviously 2 day shipping is worthless when you live so close to the distribution center =(
I'm not going to be going over the makeup remover or clear brow gel set. These are just HG's of mine that I had to order. The Jin Soon Jade Dragon nail polish will be tomorrow's NOTD swatch. This post will be all about the makeup!

I had heard Wildly Refined was an almost dupe for Light That Fire! Immediately I swatched them, along with Bendel Girl (which I've always thought was a dupe for Light That Fire!) and, respectfully, I don't think it's a dupe at all.
From Top to Bottom - Wildly Refined, Light That Fire!, Bendel Girl

From Top to Bottom - Wildly Refined, Light That Fire!, Bendel Girl (with flash)

From Top to Bottom - Wildly Refined, Light That Fire!, Bendel Girl (without flash)

As you can see from the swatches (with flash), Wildly Refined is much more pink. As I sit in the shade with the swatches on my arm they DO look slightly similar, but in the light there is absolutely no way they are dupes. In the non-flash photo Wildly Refined looks more copper-peach. It all has to do with the glitter colors in the lipglass. Still... not dupes. Final answer.
Next I swatched, with Wildly Refined Lipglass, Spree lipglass, Desires & Devices Superslick Liquid Eye Liner, and Utterly Game Mineralized Blush.
From Top to Bottom - Utterly Game Mineralized Blush, Desires & Devices SSLEL, Wildly Refined lipglass, Spree Lipglass

Utterly Game Mineralized Blush, at first swatch, has impressed me. It's incredibly pigmented and smooth. It doesn't seem as shimmery and glimmery as mineralized blushes of yore. A wonderful addition to my peach blush collection ;)
Desires & Devices Superslick Liquid Eye Liner is GORGEOUS. A beautiful Deep black green old gold....If I can get myself to apply this correctly I see many more in my future. I hear they're perm but that horrid little black triangle (LE FLAG!) on the MAC site states differently. FYI I had an EXTREMELY hard time wiping this off of my arm. I had to scrub til it hurt!
We've been over Wildly Refined color wise, it really is gorgeous. Not so much what I expected, but definately not a regrettable purchase.
Spree Lipglass has come out before with the Novel Twist collection, which was a Nordstrom exclusive collection from a few years ago. It sold out pretty quickly, but I just wasn't impressed with it. The Nordies Exclusive collections come out in Summer, so maybe that's why I didn't like Spree then, but I LOVE it now. My how our tastes change through the seasons!
Next comes the Burmese Beauty Quad:
From Top to Bottom - Skintone 2, Showstopper, Burmese Beauty, Prized

Skintone 2 is a Frost. Beautifully pigmented and smooth. Buying the quad is worth it for this one alone.
Showstopper has been in a few other palettes with MAC. It's a matte (which I hate working with but LOVE) and was exactly what I was looking for in a brown. Sorry the swatch is spotty, I was just working with a finger and not any type of brush.
Burmese Beauty is a (GASP) Lustre. Hate lustres. Hate them with the fire of a thousand suns. I actually didn't have much issue pulling up color with this one. It swatched well and will hopefully be just as easy to work with on my eyes. It reminded me of Blue Brown pigment. So if you hate working with pigments but love the look of Blue Brown this would be a good one for you.
Prized is a Satin and is almost the exact same color as my skin, apparently. I wish this one was a part of the permanent line. I could totally see this one replacing Grain as my HG highlighter.
Originally I didn't want any of these quads, but it was literally making me sick (so weird) that I wasn't getting one. I was in the market for a matte brown and a pretty gold so Burmese Beauty seemed like the smartest option.
I thought this was a pretty good launch from MAC. It didn't scream at me that I needed it all (which makes hubby happy) but it has some good options for just about everyone.
I'm a little disappointed that I didn't get Lithe pigment or Aristo-cat lippie. Maybe next haul ;)

MAC Fabulous Felines Haul
Welllllllll folks. I hauled. Surprised?! haha
MAC Fabulous Felines Collection launched today on maccosmetics.com. It is a HUGE 3 part collection which includes Leopard Luxe, Burmese Beauty, and Palace Pedigreed. I love the big cats. They're totally sexy so of course the collection, even in name alone, appealed to me.
Also released today were the Fall Trend Bags. Which, to me, were kind of disappointing compared to years past. With a collection name like Fabulous Felines attached to it... I mean they could have done some really cool stuff. They're plain. Blah.
A Nail Trend F/W '10 line was also released. Just like last year a collection of 6 polishes made for the brand by designer Jin Soon. These actually seemed better online than they did in person. While I was swatching at Nordies the only colors that appealed to me were Jade Dragon and Rain of Flowers. I think with the awesome colors out by Orly (Cosmic FX) this month MAC really dropped the ball, nail polish wise. Though they aren't primarily a nail polish BRAND like Orly... still...
I wasn't so impressed of the collection online based off of peoples swatches and the written descriptions that MAC provided or were leaked to various websites and blogs. In person, this collection presents a whole different ball game. I peeked and played while I was waiting for Falyn during the Dior event. I meant to take a picture of the set up, but forgot =| It was a Dior day, so you really can't blame me there!
I wish I had the funds to just buy everything, especially to do blog swatches and all that. I don't, so I had to stick with the basics. I went back and forth on the quad. In the end.... I obviously needed it.
My haul:
~ Burmese Beauty Quad (BB)
~ Spree Lipglass (BB)
~ Desires & Devices liner (BB) (if i love this I fully intend to buy more, so pretty!)
~ Wildly Refined Lipglass (LL)
~ Utterly Game Blush (LL)
~ Jade Dragon Nail Polish (Jin Soon)
~ Clear Brow Set (HG*)
~ Gently Off Eye & Lip Remover (HG)
I did pay for the 2nd day shipping. They ship from Maryland so technically I should get this on Thursday rather than Friday when I'd normally get it. But we'll see, I may have ordered too late. (Sorry, folks... this blogger is SICK and passed out on the couch while the little one napped and the older one danced a jig on my head.)
Once it all arrives I'll do some swatches. Probably no EOTD or FOTD til I feel better lol I look like I've been in a serious brawl.
Did you order or plan on getting anything from the MAC Fabulous Felines collection?? LIST!!! I have to know what you got and why! ;) When you haul I haul! hehe
** HG means Holy Grail... or an item I use every day. I thought I'd add in the little asterix because I know my mom is reading this and going wtf is HG. lol

MALL HAUL!
(pics are clickable to enjoy full size viewing)
On Wednesday I loaded up my kids and my cousins Lizzie and Laura (14) and we headed to Ross Park Mall. AKA The Good Mall. Laura has never been to Nordies OR Sephora. She also made her FIRST MAC purchase at Nordies!!
Even though the kiddies were NOT good I had a great time on this mall trip. The Nordstrom counter Dior Manager (Kathy) is AMAZING! She was super sweet to my kids, giving them random Dior labeled goodies to play with and keep (I'm not gonna lie, I confiscated the Dior Notebook she gave to Owen. It has some scribbles inside but it's safe now lol) and she hooked me up with a Dior parfums box I was eyeing (I don't like their perfume... sooo didn't think I had a chance on the box lol) plus gave me full size testers of their super expensive skin care Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Eye Treatment and Creme. These testers were FULL!! I've been using them for a few days now and I absolutely feel a difference. I can't notice a difference yet, but my face feels less tight... less dry... I'm hoping in time I can notice a difference, though I don't know where in the world I'd get the $$ to continue on with a skin care line like this lol

The Dior box is currently holding some of my nail polishes... the rest are in a tote until the addition is finished and I can find something more permanent... really I should purge so all my polishes fit into that box... but they are just so pretty!

At the Dior counter Kathy also had me sign up to meet with Beyonce's makeup artist on August 19! My friend Falyn and I will be enjoying makeup, palm reading and champagne at our 1pm appointment! I will definately get pics and blog about this. We're super excited! All it took was a $50 GC purchase that you can use toward product at the event.
At the MAC Counter I picked up By Candlelight (can you believe my counter still has this ?!), Mythology e/s and the 204 brush. I'm such a weirdo I just NEEDED the 204 for my brows. I've never had an appropriate brow brush before now.
At Sephora is was all about getting more Dior with the DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum and a Sérum De Rouge Luminous Color Lip Treatment in 710 Beige Serum. All of these will eventually get a blog and reviews.

But my MAIN event... was at Victoria's Secret. As we walked by they were unpacking Victoria's Secret PINK brand STEELERS football gear!!!! I wish I'd have had a bigger budget. I walked off with the three quarter length sleeve shirt but I SO wanted the hoodie and sweat pants too... all in time I guess. I can always order online. They couldn't keep the stock on the shelves, people were going nuts. It's almost Steeler season so the ladies have to stock up ;) The best part about it was I had $10 off so it didn't cost TOO much lol (Their pricing really is ridiculous though).

What was your last mall haul? Big or small, I wanna know!

Sephora 500 pt Beauty Perk - Urban Decay Hi-Fi 24/7 Set Swatches & Haul
(as always pics are clickable to view the larger size)
Happy Tuesday!
It's barely 11am and it's already been SUCH a fun day!
My first guest blog EVER was posted at ebates.com (THE place for cash back savings!). You can view my guest blog by clicking here. If you're not already a member at Ebates, please DO sign up! You get cash back (either by check or paypal) 4 times a year and I always get around $60 each time!
Then my Sephora order shows up, just in time for vacation!!!

Too Faced Bronzed & Beautiful Set, Dior Extase mascara (code: EXTASE at checkout), and Urban Decay Hi-Fi 24/7 Set (500 pt perk).
The one item (not pictured) was an item for a friend, but MY main item was the Too Faced The Bronzed & The Beautiful.

I became interested in Too Faced bronzing powder when I received a sample of Too Faced Sun Bunny from my last Sephora order. I'm MAC NW25 and this is the BEST bronzer I've found for my coloring. I've been on the hunt forever, and never even thought to go outside of my brand comfort zone. This bronzer just totally lights up the skin!
I went on to Sephora's website to purchase the Sun Bunny Bronzer when I saw that it also came in a set! The Bronzed & Beautiful set includes Sun Bunny, Snow Bunny, Pink Leopard, AND the Flatbuki brush! All for only $35! I haven't tried the Snow Bunny or the Pink Leopard yet, but once I do I'll be sure to review them. We already know from my past review of Sun Bunny that it's amazing.
Also included in this most recent shipment was Sephora.com's latest 500 point beauty perk - the Urban Decay Hi-Fi 24/7 Set. This product is EXCLUSIVE to Beauty Insiders only and features the shades Zero, Flipside, 1999, Mildew (which is an exclusive shade), as well as Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Distortion (Opalescent Pearl).

Here are the UD swatches, taken with the help of my little guy's arm ;)

Zero, 1999. Flipside, Mildew, Distortion
UD 24/7 liners are extremely smooth and easy to apply. They are waterproof, and I've never had an issue with them migrating onto my face.
Sephora has seriously been stepping it up with the 500 point perks, lately I haven't been able to pass them by! This is bad news for my wallet!

China Glaze Vintage Vixen Haul +1
WOW 3 blog posts in one day. Must be that kind of Monday!! The kids are behaving... what can I say?
The mail has arrived and my head2toebeauty.com order was at my feet. I don't want to do nail swatches just yet, because I'm leaving for vacation on Thursday and want my mani and pedi to be fresh and ready to go, so swatches more than likely won't be coming at you until Wednesday.
I ordered (all from China Glaze) Emerald Fitzgerald (love that nameeee), Foxy, Hey Doll, Ingrid, and Afterglow. Pics are posted below with some swatches on paper. PS ~ Packing peanuts... what a painnnnnnnn <3

Did you get anything yet from China Glaze Vintage Vixen? What are you lemming? DO TELL!

Sephora & MAC Haulage!
Good day! Two in a row! On a roll now!
What happened with the UPS you ask? My mailman called me around 3:30pm EST to tell me he saw my packages sitting on the street over. Same house number, wrong street! UPS always misdelivers! Anyway, legally he couldn't take them to me, but he said I could come get them. I can't leave the kids or take them out so I sent my father in law on a search and rescue mission. Recovery has been completed and I'm so excited I immediately took pics and ran for the computer!
Today my UPS haul consisted of The Urban Decay Naked Palette (which has sold out online THREE times now!), my HG Lancome Dual Finish Powder and MAC Happy Together Mineralized Blush from In The Groove, Brush Cleanser, and Plushlash Mascara (when did they change the Plushlash packaging?! lol).

The Urban Decay Naked Palette is actually more gorgeous in person than it is in everyone's blogs. Yes, it's possible. It is said to NOT be limited edition, but they just cannot keep it in stock. It's that amazing? We shall see!

My Sephora shipment was also stuffed with goodies! RARELY do I ever indulge in the 500 point beauty perk. TBH they are usually extremely lame. This time there was a nice little goodie bag from Benefit. A company I've been most curious about for the past month or so. (I've done some in store swatching at Sephora and Macy's but haven't taken the plunge yet).

The Benefit Makeup Your Mind 500 Point Perk includes Deluxe Samples of:
- BADgal Mascara Duo in black and plum
- Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in R.S.V.P. (sparkling champagne)
- Posietint
- Lipstick in Lady's Choice (naturally nude)
- Stay Don't Stray Eye Primer
I also got the Juicy Couture "Couture" Rollerball Mini for my 100 point perk and my 3 free samples are Too Faced Bronzing Powder in Sun Bunny, Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lipgloss in Doug, and BE Buxom Lipgloss Samples in Amber and Dolly.
I've only tried the Couture rollerball, and I must say... LOVELY. I'll wear this a lot! It doesn't give me a headache AND it stays on!
Tomorrow there WILL be a FOTD with the Naked Palette! WOO HOO!

MAC Give Me Liberty of London Haul
Happy Thursday to my 14 followers and anyone else who may pop in ;)
The Nordies order finally came in and I now have in my possession Birds & Berries eye shadow and Ever Hip Lipstick from MAC's Give Me Liberty Of London collection. The only two left on my want list are Bough Grey Eye Shadow and Summer Rose BP. One day they will be mines!
On to the haul!!!!

I'm totally enamoured with this packaging. MAC has had some REAL doozies of ugly in the past... (Neo Sci-Fi... sorry, that bright orange just didn't do it for me, Heatherette... I understand the designers are loud.. but yowza, Dame Edna... well that collection as a whole was just an epic fail. And who could forget those lovely eyeglass stickers falling off almost immediately. etc) but I think with LOL they really made it nice. Not too garish, but enough going on so that it looks fancy. I am in LOVE with everything that I bought from this collection. So there will be nothing negative beyond this point!
Shell Pearl BP - It shows up decently on my NW25 skin. I'm wearing it in the FOTD below. It's better suited to go under or over a more pigmented blush. But you could use it alone just to brighten up your face and stay minimal.
Prim & Proper Blush - extremely pigmented. I think with both blushes from this collection you really need to use a light hand. It's a Satin finish, which is one of my faves. They seem to have better lasting power than the sheertones.
Ever Hip Lipstick - a creamsheen.. usually not my cup of tea, but it seemed to apply more like a lustre on me. The color is to die for and exactly the coral I've been looking for. No wonder it was the first thing to sell out on the website!
Give Me Liberty Of London Eye Shadow - I've been off and on about wanting a nice matte pink. None of the others have been what I wanted. GMLOL hit the nail on the head. I love to use this as an all over lid color and then to put something fun in the crease. A MAC MA used this along with birds & berries on my cousin and she looked AMAZING.
Birds & Berries Eye Shadow - This is mostly compared to Strike A Pose Eye Shadow but more teal. B&B is definately more teal. It's everything Strike A Pose isn't. I really couldn't fall in love with SAP... B&B has captured my heart. How could you NOT want to wear this everyday?!
Frankly Fresh Lipglass - This is just a gorgeous nudish color. I love using it with Brave New Bronze Lipstick (Style Warriors). You could use it to jazz up anything really. IMO it is the number one lipglass from this collection and should not be passed over.
English Accents Lipglass - This was not an original contender on my list. I mentioned before that my cousin had her makeup done. This was the lipglass that the MA used on her and it just looked phenomenal.. that was what made my decision. It looks really good with the Viva Glam lippie from Lady Gaga.
Blue India Nail Polish - I wasn't too impressed with this one on paper. It was a maybe on my list and swatches had me going back and forth. In person, this np will floor you. It sold out quickly as well, if you find it, do yourself a favor and GET IT!
What did you haul from Give Me Liberty Of London?

It's a HAUL of a day!
WOW. I can't even begin to think about where to start.
I got an amazing nail polish haul in the mail today. I'm talking 20+ polishes people!
I received an AMAZING package from a raffle I won on Swap Tawk. There are a couple polishes in there that are SURE to be HG and I can Franken and play around with whatever I don't like...
I also received my order from aveyou.com. Holy fast shipping! They fullfilled some MAJOR lemmings for me. I picked up OPI DS Glamour, OPI Melody In Mocha, and OPI Concerto in Copper. I could not find these ANYWHERE (other than evil-bay)... so to see them on there AND get them at discount?! I almost fell over. Become a fan of them on facebook and you get $10 off ANY order. You can use this multiple times... I did! They'll also send you another coupon for 15% off in your order.
A swap also arrived today containing OPI DS Signature (can you tell I am in love with the designer series?!) and Lippmann Superstar (which was the only one I wanted from the Nordies set).
Here are some pics for your enjoyment... I'll post NOTD pics with these soon. I haven't changed my mani yet because the Orly Mirror, Mirror is staying on GREAT. Better than any polish yet for me!! As a mom, my hands are ALWAYS in water, so for this to be holding on so well... thats 2 thumbs up from me.
