Bath and Body Works PARIS AMOUR Body Lotion Photos & Review

I'm a Bath and Body Works girl from way back. So much so that I actually worked there before I had my kids. If you think it's hard to resist all of those awesome smells and ridiculously beautiful Halloween, Fall, and Holiday displays, try working there! I definitely spent more money than I made. To this day, Bath and Body Works is the first place I go for my holiday goods... and that's not just because it launched in July/August ;) hehe

My favorite scent from Bath and Body Works has pretty steadily been Cucumber Melon. I tend to float towards clean or fruity scents. Because of this I was a little skeptical when first using Paris Amour Body Lotion.

Paris Amour is part of the Signature Collection, and is one of the newer scents (August 2011) at Bath and Body Works. The back of the bottle states it's a "beautiful blend of French tulips, apple blossoms, and sparkling pink champagne". One word plopped into my head. Floral. When I worked at BBW there was this old scent called Peony, which was a strong floral. I HATED it. And, of course, little girls would come in, see the pink bottle, and spray it all over the place. It got the point when I saw them start to come in (sans parents, of course =\) I would dive on the Peony tester and hide that sucker. Worst. Scent. Ever. It's no longer available, and that's the best decision BBW could have ever made.

And, now my rant has sent me off track lol

Gingerly, I screwed open the bottle, to take my first whiff of Paris Amour. Hmmmm not bad. At first whiff it smells sweet, and hints at floral. The sweet is what is intriguing. The scent isn't over-powering, and once you apply it the smell of the Shea Butter actually takes over and it becomes much more clean.

I REALLY love this. It smells amazing and contains not only the Shea Butter, but also Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E. That means it's very moisturizing, which I need, especially with Fall/Winter nearing. Even though it's extremely moisturizing, it's not greasy at all, and soaks quickly into the skin.

What really makes me happy, is that this does not give me a headache. SO MANY scents are way too strong, resulting in an immediate headache. It's hard to find a smell that you love and that makes you want to keep smelling yourself (that sounded gross, but you know what I mean! haha). I'll definitely be picking up the rest of the Paris Amour Collection next time I'm at BBW.

Bath and Body Works Body Lotion retails for $10.50 and you can buy it at your local Bath and Body Works store or online at BathandBodyWorks.com. Right now the Signature Collection is buy 3, get 2 free - which is an AWESOME deal and there is always a coupon floating around too.

Also, right now at EBATES, Bath and Body Works is offering 3% cash back! Sign up (referral link) to save even more while you shop!!

Haven't tried that one yet. I agree with you though. I love the Halloween stuffs at BBW and I bought 12 bottles of fun flavored antibacterial hand soap. Then I said "WTH?"
