Finally, now I can sit... my daughter is sleeping and the boys are watching Toy Story 3. Silence is sooooo sweet.
Today, I have for you one of my new favorites. The Chanel Illusin D'Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadows in Epatant and Mirifique.
(Epatant on lid, Mirifique as a liner)
I bought these when they first released but didn't rush too hard to get the post up because they are permanent to the line. I'm SO mad at myself that I waited this long to try them out!
You can kind of see in the pictures, but more in person, that the shadow in these pots creates a slight dome. Even though I've read a lot of blogs and reviews on these that said they were NOT like the Armani Eyes To Kill, I still wasn't prepared for how soft and mousse-like they are.
The Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadows are super easy to apply to your lid and blend with a finger. I was impressed that the brush worked well to apply these as a liner. A little will go a very long way.
When testing these shadows I did NOT use any primer underneath and they stuck around all day. When is the last time you could say that about a cream shadow?
Epatant is a rather frosty grey-green, but will look GORGEOUS when paired up with one of my favorite Chanel quads, Murano.
Mirifique, a gorgeous sparkler .. think black diamond... is my top pick of the two, because it makes an excellent liner and will really be able to amp up your smokey eye.
I'll definitely be picking up 2 more, likely Illusoire and Ebloui.
The Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadows retail for $36 each. You can pick them up at Chanel.com or high end department stores.

I still haven't caved on trying these yet! I know sooner or later it will happen *sigh*. I only just got my first GA ETK shadow in Purpura that I've yet to review.
