What I like: It actually applies REALLY well with the given applicator. The color was smooth, and I didn't have fading issues like with their normal Mineral Eye Shadows. While I wasn't crazy about the color (even though it looks like it would be part of my beloved browns/neutrals color palette, I found this to be slightly brassy on me) I wouldn't be opposed to buying in a different shade.
What I don't like: The applicator is spring loaded, so when you unscrew it pops out. It doesn't go flying, but I just don't personally like that. Also, when you pull out the applicator, don't be alarmed, it's going to look like you're missing about 25% of your product. It's by weight, of course, but I don't like to see things emptying. I'm weird like that lol
Bare Escentuals bare Minerals High Shine Eye Color retails for $16 and can be picked up at Sephora, Ulta and BareEscentuals.com. This is available in 8 colors.

I've seen these, and heard a lot of positive things about them as well. You say that the applicator pops out? My worry was that you use it on your eye, and then put it back into the product.. for someone with oily lids (me) it sounds kinda gross. Does it work like that?
yes you would put the applicator back in to close it up. You could probably get a MAC 219 brush in there, but the premise of this product is the ease of use, so doing that would prob defeat the purpose. You would probably be better off spending your $$ on their regular mineral shadows, though I have a hard time with fading on them.
My eyelids are semi-oily and it doesn't look all gross in there lol I've only used a few times though. I've probably had this product a little over a month now.
geez I should have proof read, I said probably A LOT lol
It seems a lot of excess powder does come out with the applicator when you pull it out. I still like it vs. the pots. Thanks for the post.
