What Chanel.com has to say about Le Vernis Nail Colour:
Classic and trend-defining shades from the runways of Paris. State-of-the-art formula strengthens and moisturizes nails as it delivers long-wearing, high-shine, chip-resistant colour. Applies evenly without streaking.
April, a stunning and classy shade of garnet, wasn't even on my radar in the beginning. I had my sights tentatively set on June, but even there I wasn't sure. Luckily this collection seemed to hit my Nordstrom counter super early and I was able to swatch them in person.
I absolutely could NOT pass up April. You might look at it in the bottle and think, ahhh... it's berry. Yes, it is, but there is something more about it. This is going to sound odd, but the formula actually feels light on the nail. It's very smooth, easy to apply, and opaque in two coats.
Chanel has a great brush for application, not my fave ever, but it applies polish well and gets the job done flawlessly. These nail polishes also tend to take awhile to show chips and wear. This fact, for me, is extremely important, because if I do a manicure I need it to last. With my kids being so young and being a stay at home mom, I wash my hands and clean constantly, which means I'm rough on my hands.
Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour retails for $25.00. April is limited edition for Spring 2012.

It's so elegant
It looks very pretty, but the price is quite high.
Lovely! But I prefer June ^^ when will this collection launch?
I picked mine up at Nordstrom and you can also get it at Chanel.com - Macy's had the testers already so expect it from them soon as well! =)
Beautiful shade! I want "June" as well.
Very pretty, but I don't think I could pay $25 for it. But then again I don't mind if I wear polishes that don't last long because I get bored of manicures so fast.
