China Glaze SNOW GLOBE Nail Polish Swatches and Review - Holiday 2011

This holiday collection from China Glaze failed to wow me.  The polishes for the Let It Snow Collection just reminded me of every other holiday collection.  There was nothing special to me about it.  I loved how the gift sets were arranged, but couldn't bring myself to buy one because I just am not floored by the colors.

The one color that stood out from this collection was Snow GlobeSnow Globe has lots of twins from other brands, such as Deborah Lippmann Stairway to Heaven and MAC Unconditionally Fabulous (to name a few).  I chose the China Glaze version instead of the other brands because of the price.  I used my Sally's Beauty Club card AND had another 15% off.

I love this polish from China GlazeSnow Globe (Frosty white polish with flecks of snowy color.) isn't unique to this season, but it sure is pretty to look at.  It makes me think of what Tinker Bells Fairy Dust must be like.

This polish has a sheer base and will obviously look better when layered, but it was really festive even when worn alone.  It doesn't feel overly gritty on, especially when using a top coat.

China Glaze Snow Globe is part of  the Holiday 2011 Let It Snow Collection.  Each polish retails between $4.99 and $6.99 (in my experience) and is Limited Edtion.

I just got this shade. I don't really want to wear it alone because 4 coats is a bit much. Do you have any fun ideas for what I could layer this shade over?
