Make Up For Ever STAR COLLECTION - S2 Lab Shine Lip Gloss Swatches and Review

One of the Sephora VIB 100 point samples last week was a mini Make Up Forever Lab Shine Lip Gloss in Star Collection S2.  I'll jump at the change to try a new gloss, especially as a free sample from a brand I've started to become increasingly interested in!

A lightly textured gloss that delivers spectacular shine with a gorgeous pop of color.

What it does:
This gloss combines camelina oil and mother-of-pearl particles that reflect light to create incredible shine that adds volume to the lips. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, it provides intense hydration with a non-sticky texture for a noticeably moisturized pout. Its subtle apricot fragrance also adds a sweet scent to your lips.

Available in 35 shades across three unique collections: Diamond, Star, and Metal. The Diamond Collection includes 12 shades that give natural looking color with sparkling, sheer coverage. Star Collection - S2 (pearly light beige) is a beautiful peachy shade with lots of shimmer that isn't too over the top on the lip.  This product has a brush applicator, which I'm usually not a fan of, but on this product the brush handled very nicely.  The color didn't deposit very evenly over the lip swatch, but on top of a lipstick you won't be able to tell as much.  The photo shows it off a lot more than you'd actually notice in real life, so you'd still be ok wearing this alone.

The formula is non-sticky and has the longevity of your usual lip gloss with just a few hours minus eating and drinking.
