Since receiving the gorgeous greens from Kim at OverallBeauty.com I wanted to combine them all into the ultimate of green eye ball looks.
I did swatches recently of 100 Miles to Go, Area 51, Green Machine, and Glided Jade. You can check out swatches and review by clicking HERE. (I recommend right clicking to open up a new window).
For this eye look I used:
* Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow in Glided Jade on the lid
* Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow in Green Machine in the crease
* Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow in 100 Miles to Go in the inner corner of the eye and above the crease
* Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow in Area 51 wet as a liner
* Magic Lash Eyelash Enhancer and Black Magic Mascara (2 Coats). Right click HERE to open a new window and see my review and photos of this product.
What do you think of mineral eye shadows? I am usually NOT a fan, but I love the ones from Overall Beauty!

Week Of July 25, 2011 - Top 5 Blog Posts
Ohhh what a good Top 5 this is. I love when new posts nudge their way in and knock out the posts that have been hanging around for weeks!
Last weeks Top 5 blog posts can be viewed HERE.
The Number One blog post of this past week was the MAC Bloggers' Obsessions Hocus Pocus & Jealousy Wakes Eyeshadow Swatches & Comparisons! It's no secret to MAC fans who were lemming these shadows since the beginning, but MAC Re-released the WHOLE collection this past week and it is ALL still in stock. They must have made a ton more! If you're lemming, please go order ASAP. I also have swatches for Parisian Skies & Sparkle Neely, Sparkle.
At Number Two, for the second week in a row, is my 1000 Follower Giveaway!! If you haven't had the chance to enter already, please do so! It's open internationally and is going on until August 15.
The Number Three post, dropping all the way from number one last week, is the Chanel Topkapi Quadra Eye Shadow Palette Swatches, Review & Eye Look. This very limited edition palette by Chanel has taken the high end makeup lovers world by storm. Hands down, my favorite Chanel quad of ALL TIME.
In Number Four, the OPI Touring America Nail Polish Collection is whats "IT" for Fall. Beautiful vampy shades and pretty petal pinks. There is a shade for everyone!
Finally, in Number Five, the Wet N Wild Vanity Coloricon Eye Shadow Palette Swatches, Review, and EOTD. Vanity totally reminded me of Chanel Topkapi. Not so much in arm swatches, but when I put it on the eye. It's not a total dupe, but since the WnW is only $4.99 as compared to the $65 of Topkapi, I'd say it's pretty dang close. Check out both posts and you be the judge!
I hope this week treated you well and that you had a fun weekend! We've had 2 sick kids in the house and a lot of family parties happening. We're trying to rest up so we can make the most out of this coming week!
I have been photographing a alot of Chanel, Dior, Wet N Wild, L'Oreal, and MUCH MORE for postings this week. Make sure you check back! =)

Wet N WIld BRANDY WINE 666 Coloricon Lipliner Swatches & Review
Yep... you did see 666 in the title. Did it make you scared to peek? Don't worry, there is nothing to be scared of with the Wet N Wild Coloricon Lipliner in Brandy Wine!
(above is Brandy Wine alone.. no balm, lippie or lipgloss... nada)
Brandy Wine is definitely a shade you'll want for Fall. It's vampy, and deep. Think... Lestat drinking his morning Merlot. (I like to tell myself there is nothing wrong with a little wine to start the day ;) lol) This lipliner is HUGE and will last you awhile. It's so huge, that if I rest it in the crease where I bend my elbow, it almost reaches to my wrist.
The color is awesome, and I'm LOVING how it turned out when I added in Wet N Wild 502A Silk Finish Lipstick. It took a pretty frosty lippie and made it freaking TO DIE FOR.
The only downside is that it's not the smoothest pencil liner I've ever tried. As you can tell from the swatch of the liner alone, it definitely needs a lipstick or gloss buddy. But, that is ok, because generally that is what you're using the liner for. I found it easier to glide along the lip line once the sharp "new" point wore down a bit. And the price is SO right, you can't pass it up.
Wet N Wild Coloricon Lipliners retail for $0.99 (I kid you not) and are available in 6 shades. You can pick them up at your local drugstore. We're also in the FINAL days of the Rite-Aid buy one get one half off! (Don't fret, though... Rite-Aid and CVS seem to be going back and forth and doing this deal a lot lately... lets HOPE they keep it up haha)
***Products and information regarding this product were provided by the company in exchange for an HONEST review. For more information, please see my Disclosure Policy.

EOTD - Dior Blue Tie SMOKING BLUE 001 Eye & Lip Palette
Awhile back I posted my review on the Dior Blue Tie Smoking Blue 001 Eye & Lip Palette. You can click the link to see more pics and swatches of this product.
I obviously didn't do my look with this palette as soon as I'd hoped to. It's been a busy couple of weeks! I'm not sure what my opinion on this is. It's totally beautiful, and the navy shades work for me... But when I apply them on the eye they ALL look the same. $70 for a collectors palette is probably the right price point, but I don't think I'm too happy paying it, when I'm not so much of a collector of makeup, but more of a user of makeup. Nothing sits in my stash unused.
I do, however LOVE the fact that the lip part of this palette has a cover. ALL lip/eye palettes should have a cover over the lip. My big OCD about lip palettes is the mess.. this hides the goop look. YAY!
Onto the eye look!
I used the bottom right silver shade all over the lid and up through and past the crease. I then took the top left navy shade and dropped it into the crease and blended it through and into the outer V. Using the upper right blue shade I patted that onto my lid.
Now, I planned to use the bottom left sparkly black/blue shade as my liner, but I hateeee using shadows (especially palette shadows) wet. I tried to do it dry and it was really a no go. I deepened the liner using Dior Waterproof Crayon Eyeliner in Trinidad Black. For mascara, I used the Dior DiorShow Extase Mascara that I got in my most recent Dior Diva Gift.
I haven't heard the best things about this palette. Reviews are looking largely negative. I thought the shades were beautiful and pigmented, but $70 is hard to swallow when there are very similar shades out there that are much cheaper and a bit more smooth. However, if you're a collector, you must have this. I'm a sucker for packaging, and this compact is super heavy, shiny... it's just full of pretties!
Did you pick up anything from the Dior Blue Tie collection? What was your favorite? This palette was the only thing I picked up, but I'm lemming on a few of the lippies.

Urban Decay Urban Brow, Revolution Eyelash Curler, Lush Lash Mascara, Urban Lash for Fall 2011
Do you spend way too much time in the mirror getting up-close and personal with your brows only to end up with them lopsided anyway? Does it drive you bonkers that no matter how long you wait for regrowth, your brows continually have sparse spots? Do your brows have a mind of their own and just need to be tamed? Show your brows who’s boss once and for all! Frame your face like a pro with Urban Brow Precision Tip Brow Tint and Urban Brow Styling Brush and Setting Gel by Urban Decay.
URBAN BROW PRECISION TIP BROW TINT
• Designed with function in mind, these sleek Brow Tints feature an ultra-fine brush tip for precision
brow shaping. Color flows through the pen into the fine tip brush creating light, feathery, naturallooking
strokes.
• Fill in sparse areas, define your arch, and color your brows perfect with one of our two universal
shades of Blonde or Brunette Precision Tip Brow Tints. The Blonde Precision Tip Brow Tint works
beautifully on blondes, red heads, and those with light brown hair. The Brunette Brow Tint works
wonders on those with medium to dark brown hair all the way to black.
• With a won’t budge, water-resistant formula, Precision Tip Brow Tints do not smudge during a sweaty
workout, when accidentally rubbed, or as a result of inclement weather.
• If brows or sparse spots need more coverage, just layer strokes of Brow Tint to create a natural looking
defined brow.
URBAN BROW STYLING BRUSH AND SETTING GEL
• Polish off your well-groomed brows with the Styling Brush and Setting Gel. The high-powered clear gel provides all-day hold yet leaves brows feeling soft, never sticky, stiff or crunchy (no flaking either!).
• Inspired by the ‘hairspray on a toothbrush trick,’ Urban Brow Styling Brush and Setting Gel is equipped with an innovative, mini, straight-edged brush…it looks like a toothbrush!
• Much more effective for brow taming than a traditional spiral brush, our straight brush took two years to engineer and makes brows look amazing!
Urban Brow products are available at Sephora, ULTA, and select Macy’s. Or, online at Sephora.com, ulta.com, macys.com, beauty.com, and urbandecay.com.

Zippers are to men what eyelash curlers are to women…necessary, but dreaded. Construed by many as a torture instrument, the eyelash curler inflicted unpredictable brutality in the form of skin pinching, lid pulling, and even eyelash removal at the root. And the curler of old wouldn’t even curl all your lashes at once, leaving the ends crimped rather than curled, an ironic twist given the sacrifice! It’s time for a revolution! Introducing The Revolution High Performance Lash Curler by Urban Decay, the cageless, pinch-free, crimp-free solution to creating beautifully curled lashes without living in fear.
PRODUCT INFO
• Featuring a sleek, cageless design, The Revolution High Performance Lash Curler curls in sections for more targeted, precise results. Curl your entire row of lashes or just your outer lashes for a touch of flair; you have options!
• We are proud to say The Revolution is an equal opportunity lash curler. Unlike most lash curlers with standardized cages, The Revolution provides a lasting, soft curl to those with any size and shape of eye and length of lash line.
• The Revolution comes with five extra-cushy replacement pads (which should be changed every three months) guaranteeing a soft and natural, non-crimped curl every time.
• A refined and architecturally pleasing beauty tool, The Revolution High Performance Lash Curler literally outshines all the rest with its glossy gunmetal finish and unique design.
INSIDER INFO
• For maximum spring strength, we recommend replacing The Revolution every 18 months.
• After a battle with her lash curler ending with it hanging from her eye, Wende decided it was war! Being the determined woman that she is, it wasn’t long before the queen of beauty and function came up with the idea for a cageless, crimp-free, pinch-free, lash curler that is life-changing…The Revolution High Performance Lash Curler.
HOW TO
• The Revolution High Performance Lash Curler is literally a revolutionary way to curl your lashes. For the best results, simply rest the curved section completely against your upper eyelid, making sure to squeeze gently for perfectly crimp-free, curled lashes. The Revolution is most effective when using your right hand to curl the lashes of your right eye and using your left hand to curl the lashes of your left eye.
THE REVOLUTION by Urban Decay (SRP $20) is available at Sephora, ULTA, and select Macy’s. Or, online at Sephora.com, ulta.com, macys.com, beauty.com and urbandecay.com
Despite her well-paid Latisse endorsements, you can outdo notorious man-stealer Claire Danes lash-for-lash with Urban Decay’s new nourishing, thickening, and lengthening Lush Lash Mascara. Infused with our Lush Lash Growth System, this mascara helps grow, condition, and beautify lashes without the harsh chemicals that probably blinded poor Claire from seeing her moral compass, causing her to take what’s not hers.
PRODUCT INFO
• Indulge yourself with the mascara that does-it-all. Whether you’ve been cursed with brittle, fragile lashes, or just wanna give yours some more oomph, Lush Lash Mascara works double-time to beautify your lashes, thickening, lengthening AND building them all-at-once!
• The unusual, creamy texture feels like you’re coating your lashes in a conditioning formula. It glides on like a dream and leaves lashes thick and LUSH!
• Infused with the same growth serum (packed with Peptides and moisturizing Panthenol) contained in our Lush Lash System, Lush Lash Mascara actually promotes lash growth with daily use.
• Though not ‘technically’ waterproof, this innovative formula stayed intact, showing NO signs of running, smudging, or flaking after being road-tested during a steamy yoga class.
• The ultra-luxe iridescent purple tube features an innovative, large, hourglass-shaped brush ideal for applying even, yet generous coats of this rich formula.
INSIDER INFO
• Unlike many mascaras out there, Lush Lash Mascara enhances lashes over time rather than damaging them.
• Pair Lush Lash Mascara with our Lush Lash System for super-fast, noticeable results.
• For fast, easy, and gentle (we promise no stinging!) removal of our water-resistant Lush Lash Mascara, we recommend our Meltdown Makeup Remover.
Lush Lash Mascara (SRP $20) is available at Sephora, ULTA and select Macy’s locations. Or, online at Sephora.com, ulta.com, macys.com, beauty.com and urbandecay.com

Cult Nails CAPTIVATED Nail Lacquer Swatches & Review
You're really going to hate me for this one.
Cult Nails Captivated Nail Lacquer is one of the prettiest and most unique polishes you'll ever see. And you can't get it anymore. I barely got it... I just happened to be on twitter when Maria announced that she found a few left overs of previously sold out shades. I dashed over to CultNails.com and was able to secure Captivated before it sold out. Again. Forever.
These first two pics I'll show you were taken outside with no flash. The flash tends to wash out how beautiful Captivated actually is. 3 coats of polish were used for all pictures, as well as Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Base & Top Coat.
The following picture was taken outside in the sun, with no flash.
These last two pics were taken in my home, using the flash.
Captivated is a to-die-for stunner coral FLAKIE polish. The coral base is rather sheer, but the flakes are so thick that you don't need a different base to wear this with (though you still COULD if you wanted to!).
I am REALLY hoping that Cult Nails will release this one again. I know a lot of fans missed out on it and the lemmings are growing strong!
Cult Nails polishes retail for $10 each and can be purchased at cultnails.com. Follow them on Twitter and Facebook for deals and to see what new polishes are in the works for future release!
On my Cult Nails wishlist? Always Winning, Iconic, and (from the soon to be released Hypnotic Collection) Trace, and Hypnotize Me. FYI - you can actually pre-order the entire Hypnotic Collection right now. It's only $30 for 4 polishes so it's like you're getting one for free!

Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color Product Information & Photos
Do you find that after the extensive routine of lining, coloring and glossing your lips you’re just too exhausted to go in to work (such a rough life, we know). The lip routine excuse isn’t gonna fly with your boss anymore. So, Urban Decay introduces Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color, the creamiest, most sumptuously pigmented, truly all-in-one chubby pencil to ever hit your lips.
PRODUCT INFO
• It may be hard to believe, but we actually created a formula that delivers all the opaque, saturated, high-impact, long-lasting color of your favorite lipstick with the bonus of anti-feathering mega-watt shine in one chubby pencil!
• Color is so saturated that your lips stay pigmented longer than with a lipstick or gloss.
• Available in five dynamic shades, Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color offers bright fun colors paired with creamy or metallic sparkle finishes. True to their name, these high-gloss lip colors work doubletime moisturizing your lips while beautifying them at the same time!
• Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color is softer than you could ever make a lipstick because the pencil supports the ultra-creamy formula. In a lipstick case, it would just go SQUISH!
• Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color brings you an ultra-moisturizing formula free of mineral oil and paraffin. Instead, our state-of-the-art formula is loaded with nourishing plant derivatives such as Phytosterol, which promotes skin hydration, protects and even rejuvenates the delicate skin on your lips.
• Each 8mm barrel is color-matched to each shade, making it a piece of cake to find in a jam-packed purse.
INSIDER INFO
• Even the pencils with metallic sparkle feel like butter, leaving no trace of ‘sparkle grit’ on your lips.
• Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color sharpens beautifully with our Grind House Double Barrel Sharpener.
THE SUPER-SATURATED HIGH GLOSS LIP COLOR SPECTRUM
Adrenaline – bright pink w/sparkle finish (Wende’s favorite!)
Big Bang – bright fuchsia w/sparkle finish
Crush – hot pink w/crème finish
F-Bomb – bright red w/crème finish
Punch Drunk – bright red-orange w/crème finish
Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color (SRP $19) is available exclusively at Sephora and Sephora.com.

Nicole by OPI Something About Color for Target - Fall Nail Polish Swatches & Review
For Fall, Nicole by OPI has launched 4 new shades to be sold exclusively at Target stores. Click HERE to view the official press release.
***All polishes were placed on top of Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Base Coat, no top coat was used.
I Love You Cherry Much
I Love You Cherry Much is a glowy, cherry red. This polish covered and applied very nicely. I used 2 coats for the photo.
Sounds Grape To Me
Sounds Grape To Me is a vampy, burgundy grape with lots of gold shimmer. In the bottle I wasn't so crazy for this shade, but once it hit my nails all bets were off! I used 2 coats for the photo.
It's Not Me, It's Blue
It's Not Me, It's Blue is a stunning indigo shade with silver and purple shimmer. I used 3 coats for this photo, but it was a tad patchy still, so I'd likely go for four coats the next time. From the 4 polish collection, this one was my favorite.
I attempted to shoot this polish in direct sunlight with no flash in an effort to capture the gorgeous shimmer, but it still doesn't show how beautiful this polish is.
Green Up Your Act
Green Up Your Act is a beautiful deep jade cream. This was the one I wore as my mani for a few days, and I'm happy to report there is very minimal tip wear. I used 3 coats for this photo.
In my opinion 3 out of the 4 of these shades are must haves. I love It's Not Me It's Blue, Green Up Your Act, and Sounds Grape To Me (in that order). I Love You Cherry Much is passable. It's pretty, but if you have a ton of reds already you really don't need this one.
The new Something About Color Nail Lacquers will be available August 2011 for $7.04 each at select Target locations nationwide and Target.com.

***All polishes were placed on top of Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Base Coat, no top coat was used.
I Love You Cherry Much is a glowy, cherry red. This polish covered and applied very nicely. I used 2 coats for the photo.
Sounds Grape To Me is a vampy, burgundy grape with lots of gold shimmer. In the bottle I wasn't so crazy for this shade, but once it hit my nails all bets were off! I used 2 coats for the photo.
