MAC FEELING FLUSH, PRESSED AMBER, & WARMTH OF CORAL Mineralize Blush Swatches & Review

Oh, blushes... you get me every time....

Blushes are so great... I'm a total blush addict. I don't hoard them (I tend to pass them along or sell them when I purge), but I love, love, LOVE to buy them. Blush is a product that can totally transform your face. You can look totally wan and sick, add some blush... BOOM! Awake and gorgeous ;)

Originally, I wanted two of the Mineralize Blushes from the MAC Semi-Precious Collection. Warmth of Coral and Pressed Amber. I talked myself out of Pressed Amber because the swatches online looked super brown. Feeling Flush wasn't even a blip on my radar.

Let's just say, you can't send a blush addict into a store and expect them to walk out with one.

(L-R: Feeling Flush, Pressed Amber, Warmth of Coral)

Feeling Flush

Feeling Flush is described on the MAC Website as Pink, Deep Blue, Pink, Soft Brown. I'm not sure why Pink had to be said twice...and the deep blue looks purple to me... and I really don't see any brown... Regardless, Feeling Flush is beautifully pigmented, but easily blended. You can build up the color, so when you see the swatch do not be alarmed! It's truly wearable in person. Initially I did NOT want this blush, but once you see it, you cannot pass it up.

Pressed Amber

Pressed Amber is described on the MAC Website as Nude, Beige, Brown. THIS is accurate. It really is the perfect nude blush. Originally it was on my list, then I passed thinking it might be TOO brown. In person it's right on the money! I may have just found the replacement for my discontinued Chanel Nude Joues Contraste!!!

Warmth of Coral

Warmth of Coral
is described on the MAC Website as Coral, Peach. Accurate, but there is some pink swirl in there too. This beauty never left my list. Not even for a nanosecond. I love Warmth of Coral alone, and blended lightly with Pressed Amber.

All of the Semi-Precious Collection Mineralize Blushes are soft, smooth, and pigmented. All home runs. If you're having a hard time deciding on what you absolutely NEED ... skip the shadows and get the blushes!

The Semi-Precious Mineralize Blushes retail for $23.00 and are limited edition. Feeling Flush is currently sold out on the MAC website (Pressed Amber and Warmth of Coral are still available), but you can still pick it up at your local MAC store or counter, or online at Nordstrom.com - while supplies last. Call ahead to check on availability.
