Le Metier de Beaute CAFE CREME Lip Creme Swatches and Review

One product I can never get enough of is the Le Metier de Beaute Lip Creme.  It's so easy to throw on and feels luxe.  Cafe Creme is so versatile it never even needs to leave your makeup bag!

The Nordstrom website describes Le Metier de Beaute Lip Creme as:

A hybrid of gloss and lipstick, Lip Crème combines chic color, intense emollients and antioxidants to soothe and nourish. Long-lasting intense color with added shine and gloss. Lacquer-sheen finish. Creamy texture and easy-glide formula. Vitamins and antioxidants for smooth, supple lips.

Cafe Creme is a rosy brown nude with understated micro-shimmers.  It's not sticky or gritty.  The formula isn't too thick, and looks gorgeous when worn alone or on top of your favorite LMdB lipsticks, such as San Tropez or Ibiza!

If you're pining  for a high end gloss that has zero stick that you can literally wear with everything and feel that you're getting your money's worth, then Cafe Creme is for you.

Marchesa for Le Metier de Beaute L'EMBRASSE/LE PASSION Double Entendre Lip Gloss Swatches and Review

Let's be honest, Le Metier de Beaute has the best designer collaborations.  Recently we've seen them work with Oscar de la Renta, but back in 2010 they had a major thing going with Marchesa. 

For Fall 2010 Le Metier de Beaute and Marchesa teamed up to launch a knock your socks off collection which included 4 Lip Gloss Duos.  Today, I have one of those duos to share with you - L'Embrasse/Le Passion Double Entendre Lip Gloss.

L'Embrasse/Le Passion Double Entendre Lip Gloss (A unity between a bittersweet chocolate and blushing bronze) is a pair of 2 beautifuly different yet complimenting shades of gloss.  From what I can gather from online search, I believe the pink side is Le Passion, and the bronze side is L'Embrasse.  I will update this post if I can figure it out for sure.  While small (net wt 0.21fl. oz.), this gloss duo is perfect to slip in your clutch or pocket for quick, on-the-go touch ups.  The formula is non-stick, glossy, and sizzling!

Best Things in Beauty also has swatches of this same lip duo, as well as pictures from the website of the other 3 duos.

This product doesn't seem to be available online anymore, but I did purchase mine rather recently during the Neiman Marcus Beauty Event 2011.  It was gone from the site then had popped back on so I happily dove on it.  The price point is rather high, especially for so little product, but I find myself disappointed that I couldn't get my hands on the rest of these lip duos.  I would have REALLY liked that Sheer Illuminator Pen too =(

Le Metier de Beaute BALI Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss Swatches and Review

It's a vampy lip kind of season... and it might make some people a little nervous. When you're not used to a deep lip, or don't want to be bothered maintaining it through the evening, a sheer gloss is the way to go!

Le Metier de Beaute Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss in BALI offers that same juicy berry color that we're all craving for Fall, but in a lighter and more wearable for all finish.

Bali is the perfect blend of colors berry and raisin. It's a sheer finish, that you can layer up a bit for more color. In the swatches above you can see the shimmer particles, but that is because of the cameras macro setting, in person the lips just look full and shiny.

Sheer Brilliance Lip Glosses are non-sticky and hydrating to lips. The non-stick alone makes them worth their weight in gold to me.

Le Metier de Beaute SILK ROAD Kaleidoscope Eye Kit Swatches and Review

For Fall/Winter 2011, Le Metier de Beaute shows us a new Kaleidoscope Eye Kit in Silk Road.

Tapestry – a shimmering, translucent plum

Damask – a polished brass

Ikat – a silk-matte pinot noir

Brocade – a deep chocolate with sequined copper effervescence

How to use:

Experience each jewel-toned hue through the previous hue, as all four pigments intertwine to create a prism for the ultimate color contrast with the wearer's eye shape and color. Using the Le Métier de Beauté signature eye shadow application technique, "Couches de Couleur" (the layering of color), each hue is selected to evoke one element in a sequence of crescendo: 1. Le Metier de Beaute ARTEMIS Liquid Eyeliner Swatches and Review

Le Metier de Beaute Artemis Liquid Eyeliner was available during the Neiman Marcus Beauty Event and was FREE with a $125 purchase. It only seemed to be up during the first two days of the event (online anyway) and then was quickly replaced with the Paradis Lip Palette.

Artemis is a beautiful deep navy blue with shimmer. Not over the top shimmer, but just enough so that it doesn't look flat and boring. My only major gripe with it, is that it took forever to dry. With liquid eyeliners I prefer a more instant dry so I can get on with my makeup and get out the door (I'm usually rushing!). BUT. It does NOT COME OFF. It takes some work. So, if you're looking for an eyeliner that will not move, this is it!

The applicator is not spongy, it's a this brush and a bit longer than what I'd normally like. This product takes careful application to get the best and most precise line, however it isn't difficult to use.

Unfortunately, Artemis isn't available within the core line, but it totally should be. I've never seen a navy liquid eyeliner that I actually LOVE the color of. It's perfection.

MYSTIQUE

Mystique is a lavender tinged bubble gum color that may look like no one could wear it, but when sheered out it's a lovely pale shade of pink that is perfect for cool toned skin.

CORAL NYMPH

Coral Nymph is one of my favorite colors to wear on my face, apricot! It's perfect for warm toned makeup lovers. One thing to watch with this one, it might of just been my particular pot BUT the consistency of this shade was a lot softer. Mystique and Ginger Lily are more solid, so you really can rub your finger on the color... Coral Nymph is super soft and I got WAY too much product. Tread softly, less is more!

GINGER LILY

Ginger Lily is the perfect rosy nude shade to wear for every and any occasion. I actually had purchased this one previously and reviewed it and it's been total love since. Click here for my original post on Ginger Lily.

All of the Creme Fresh Tints give just the right amount of color and have excellent staying power. They are not sticky in the least and the most blendable of any creme blush I've ever tried. I prefer to apply these with my fingers, rather than a brush because it seems to blend a bit more seamlessly and quickly!

One of my favorite combos lately has been to use Ginger Lily and then put Whisper Powder Rouge on top.
