Rose Platine is anything BUT. It's very demure in looks and can be worn to look subtle, or smokey.
Here is an eye look I posted yesterday, the liner used is Rose Platine - meant to be subtle.

Summer 2011 and retails for $29.00. This item seems to be hot in random areas. Locally, you cannot find this anywhere, but when Nordstrom did a store inventory search certain stores were coming up with 39 units left in stock! Even though it appears to be sold out online, call around. This is unique and not to be missed!

I *love* this! It's so pretty and shimmery. GOSH I can't afford a $30 eyeliner right now, though! If you see anything as pretty for half the price, you should compare the two :) I'm so broke!
Whitney - I'll keep my eyes open!! So far, I haven't seen ANYthing like this ever. I was going to pass on it but then I swatched it one day in Macy's and couldn't stop thinking about. I finally gave in and called Nordstrom so they could find it for me lol
I still can't decide whether I love this or not. I'm definitely keeping it but I'm on the fence about this one.

Rachel - usually I'd say no. The only other Chanel one I've purchased is Gris Scintillant (I believe that was from Spring 2011), but when I see something that is unique, I snap it up... ANY price... well... within REASON lol
