Butter London THE BLACK KNIGHT Nail Polish Swatches and Review - Holiday 2011

For  Holiday 2011 Butter London has released 3 new nail lacquers - Tart With A Heart, The Black Knight, and Fairy Lights.  I saw swatches of The Black Knight on Body Soul Beauty about a week before I bought my own.  The minute I laid eyes on it, I knew it had to be mine.

The Black Knight has an aubergine base featuring lots of gold, purple, pink, and blue sparkles.  It's very festive and galactic.  Outer space looks like this.  I haven't been there, but I'm sure of it ;)  For the above swatches I used 3 coats.  The first coat goes on rather sheer, but the second coat almost covers completely.  The perfectionist in me needed to add the third.

This particular Butter London Nail Polish was purchased in a set at Ulta called Holiday Dressing Table along with the shade Tart With A Heart.  This set retails for $25.  I'm unsure if you can buy these separately at Ulta, but you CAN purchase them separately at ButterLondon.com for $14 each.
