I've been missing from the past few Flashback Fridays =( I would always think I need to do that, and then the day would get away from me and it wouldn't happen.
This Friday I'm BACK with the crazy things husbands do.
Last year we got one of those white heat stains on our cherry wood table. Jeff looked up on YouTube (which is such an authority on furniture, right?) how to remove this and saw that you could goop peanut butter on it and it'll come off. Obviously this sounds ridiculous so I had to take pics. It does NOT work. Repeat, do not try this at home.
Enlarge the pics for the full on effect. Warning - I'm gonna be honest, these pics are extremely disgusting. So if you're eating... put the burger down.

Totally something my husband would do! He'll listen to pretty much anything google tells him. But... ok so do I, haha.
What ended up fixing the stain??
sadly, nothing really =( a lot of polishing and rubbing faded it quite a bit, but I always knew it was there lol we ended selling that set because we wanted to get away from a formal dining area, so it worked out lol
