theBalm NUDE 'TUDE Nude Eyeshadow Palette Swatches, Review and EOTD

I'd like to take this opportunity to officially announce that theBalm is THE BOMB.  Holy, wow.  For Cyber Monday (the only Cyber Monday deal I took advantage of, actually!) the Balm offered 30% off of your order and I also qualified for free shipping!  Don't mind if I do!

For my first ever products from theBalm I ordered Hot Mama Blush (to be reviewed) and the Nude 'Tude Eyeshadow Palette.

The Nude 'Tude Palette comes in 2 versions one Naughty, and one Nice.  I chose Feeling Naughty because I thought it was more fun to be naughty ;) Whatever style is your poison, both versions come with the EXACT same shadows, but where the Naughty shadows are displayed over some... ahrm .... girlie bits .... Nice is not.

What has  to say about The Nude 'Tude Eyeshadow Palette:
These amazing palettes consist of 12 beautiful shadows that make wearing nudes fun!  These satiny smooth colors can be applied naturally "i.e. let me slip into something more comfortable" or beautifully layered.  The wide range of naked neutrals gives you light highlighters as well as brazen bold shades that work to add definition and emphasis.  Nude 'Tude allows you to dramatically dress up your eyes (if nothing else)!

(L-R: Snobby, Sassy, Stand-offish, Stubborn, Sultry, Selfish, Schitzo, Sophisticated, Silly, Sexy, Sleek, Serious)

(L-R: Snobby, Sassy, Stand-offish, Stubborn, Sultry, Selfish)

(L-R: Schitzo, Sophisticated, Silly, Sexy, Sleek, Serious)

Nude 'Tude is more of a Sultry Nude palette, rather than just all nude shades.  Shades included in this palette are Snobby (shimmery yellowed peach), Sassy (frosty white), Stand-offish (frosty pinked peach), Stubborn (frosty light pink), Sultry (satin medium brown), Selfish (shimmery taupe), Schitzo (shimmery bronze), Sophisticated (semi-shimmery deep brown), Silly (semi-shimmery burgandy), Sexy (matte burgundy), Sleek (dark matte brown), and Serious (matte black)

I love that theBalm added in shades like Silly and Sexy to venture out of the brown/taupe/black/nude rut.  It's a pop of color you wouldn't normally see in a nude palette.

I found all of the shadows to be extremely easy to work with, nicely pigmented and they all play well  together.  I experienced no fall-out while using these shadows.

Let's talk packaging.  How FUN is theBalm when it comes to names and packaging?  I love the design and the creativity of this brand.  This particular palette is sturdy and comfortable to hold while you use.

I am definitely looking forward to more purchases and posts of products from theBalm!

(Selfish on lid, Sexy in crease, Stubborn at inner corners and to highlight.  Liner is Chanel Gris Scintillant, Mascara is MAC False Lashes Extreme Black)

(Stand-offish on lid, Sultry in crease, Schitzo to deepen outer V and crease, Sassy at inner corners and to highlight.  Liner is MAC Teddy, Mascara is Dior Diorshow in Mitzah)

TheBalm Nude ' Tude Eyeshadow Palette retails for $36 and is available on theBalm website.
