Wet N Wild COMFORT ZONE 738 Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection Swatches and Review

Well this post was supposed to pop up yesterday, sorry about that!  I'm not sure why bloggers scheduled posts absolutely never work for me, but at least we're getting it up early today!  (side note, did everyone set their clocks back an hour?!)

I'm so excited to be able to bring you the Wet N Wild Comfort Zone Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection.  I remember when people first started flashing these off on their blogs.  I couldn't find them ANYwhere.  Finally, when Ulta started to carry Wet N Wild, there they were!  I grabbed one and definitely intend on going back for the others.  Of course, since then, they've finally shown up at my local CVS.  Doh.  LOL At least I won't have to travel to pick up the other ones!  I still have yet to see the baked or the matte sets, but my eyes are peeled!

What the Wet N Wild website has to say about the Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection:
Eight dynamic, perfectly color-coordinated shades with high pigment and pearl for ultra-impact color. Shades can be used together or individually to create an endless variety of looks.

Comfort Zone is a great set of eight shadows all in one palette.  The left side features a neutral and brown set to create a toned down or night out smoky look.  I am in love with the dark brown definer shade, look at those sparkles!  The right side features a beautiful set of greens.  The brow bone shade is my fave from this side, it's just so silvery green and interesting.  And doesn't the definer shade remind you of the MAC Green Brown pigment?  I don't have the two to compare, but I used to have a sample a long time ago and this made me think of it.

These were very easy to swatch and only required one finger swipe!  Very soft and buttery except the crease shade on the green side.  It's was also only one finger swipe but was the only shade that felt a bit chalky.  It still was very easy to work with on the eye.  Much like the trios and 6 shadow palette these remain very pigmented and well worth over and above their price point.

I do plan on doing some eye looks with this palette, but unfortunately I'm feeling a bit under the weather, so they'll have to be in a separate post.

The Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection retails for only $4.99 and is available at your local drugstore as well as at Ulta!

I think this is my favourite out of the Wet n Wild palettes that I've seen swatched.

It's so frustrating that we don't get this awesome stuff over here in the UK!
