BeautyMint Skin Care Program Overall Thoughts and Review

Heads up skin care enthusiasts!  There is a new system on the market!

BeautyMint is introduced by skin care expert Nerida Joy, who has over 30 years of experience in her field, and superstar Jessica Simpson (who I'm sure is loving the new skin pampering since announcing her pregnancy!  UGH when I think back on what pregnancy did to my skin... blah).  BeautyMint is part of the parent company BeachMint, which has also launched such well known brands as StyleMint and JewelMint.

From the BeautyMint website:
Nerida's philosophy is based on building a healthy skin care foundation for a lifetime of beautiful skin. In her vast experience, results don't just come from effective products, but an effective regimen. When it comes to Nerida's clients, this regimen begins with a skin care analysis that covers everything from skin type to skin behaviors to lifestyle influences. By pinpointing specifics, she can recommend the right solutions to promote incredible results.
Nerida's distinctly individualized approach and Jessica's philosophy on beauty aligned perfectly to create BeautyMint. Nerida is not only proud to offer personalized skin care systems that combine products she loves and trusts, she's thrilled she can now make her expertise available to you.
To get started, you go to the website to fill out the short questionnaire and get your FREE skin care consultation, to find out which skin care system is right for you.  Everyone's skin is different, so everything is personalized to target your skins specific needs.  Once that is completed, you can sign up for the service and take advantage of BeautyScopes (skin care advice tailored just for you), having the best beauty expertise and resources right at your fingertips, as well as a convenient monthly replenishment so you're never without your products.

For more information on BeautyMint, please visit the FAQ section of their website.  Here you can read about payment methods accepted, the return policy, and A LOT more.  Currently, BeautyMint only ships in the US and Hawaii.  You can view their Terms of Service by clicking HERE.

Now, on to my personal experience with the BeautyMint product.  I was sent four items to test out - the Essential Cleanser with Aloe, the Strengthening Hydrator with SPF15, the Ultra Replenishing Serum with Marine Collagen, and the Sculpting Treatment with Peptides.  I'm going to review each item individually first, and then talk about the systems effects on me.

Essential Cleanser with Aloe

The Essential Cleanser with Aloe is said to "wash away dirt, oil, and makeup with this soothing cleanser that leaves skin feeling refreshed and balanced".  It absolutely cleansed my face well, though I did need to use my separate eye makeup remover to take off my liner and mascara.  The liner and mascara that I generally wear isn't waterproof, but I found that just the cleanser alone didn't remove them completely.  It did remove the eyeshadow well.

This cleanser is fine to use both morning and evening.  I found that you don't need to use very much of this product at a time, but that it does squeeze out rather quickly.  So be careful  there, as you don't want to run out of product before you're replenished with the next months supply.  The only scent I can pull from this is the scent of the Aloe, so users with the sensitive sniffer should be safe.

Strengthening Hydrator with SPF15

The Strengthening Hydrator with SPF15 is said to help prevent sunburn.  I can't attest to that or not, but basically it has SPF in it, so it should work well for that purpose.  It's summer, so the rays aren't that strong, but it's always a good idea to wear SPF anyway year round.    I didn't find  this product to be as hydrating as I personally need it to be.  I do have an oily T-Zone, but in the colder months my cheeks and forehead tend to get majorly scaly and dry, while still being oily in the nose area.

You can use the Hydrator daily as needed, preferably in the morning before sun exposure.  The formula of this product is runny, so be careful when you squeeze it out.  It has the scent of sunscreen, which I find to be neither pleasant or unpleasant, it really will just depend on your personal preference.

Ultra Replenishing Serum with Marine Collagen

The Ultra Replenishing Serum with Marine Collagen is said to "diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for skin that looks healthy and radiant".  I do notice a very slight difference in the lines I have around my eyes.  I don't have a ton of facial lines/wrinkles, and am using this product as more of a preventative measure.  While wearing this  my skin looks "glowy" but as it dries it has a sticky feel to it, which doesn't fade quickly, but will eventually go away.

This serum has a light glue-like odor to it, which I personally don't like, but it isn't offensive, and if a product works that is a very slight con to deal with.  It is safe to use this in the morning and the evening.  I actually like wearing it in the morning, as the product seems to hold on my makeup better than when I don't use it.  It may be the stick factor, but whatever it is, I likes it.

Sculpting Treatment with Peptides

The Sculpting Treatment with Peptides is said to "help smooth and firm for youthful-looking skin".  This product looks like a clear gel, and all you need is a thin layer (one pump will do ya).  This also has a light stick to it, but not as much as the serum.  As with the serum, I am also using this product as more of a preventative measure.

There is no strong odor to this treatment, and it's good to use in the morning and/or evening.

Overall, I think this system works well for me.  While I've only been using them day and night for a little over a week, the products don't make my face freak out (I'm not extremely sensitive, but my face can get majorly wonky with new products) and I've noticed my skin sport a more refined texture.  Two things I'd like to change about the products, is the stickiness of the Serum and I definitely need a more moisturizing cream.  Perhaps keep the Strengthening Hydrator for day and then in the evening have a thicker and more saturating cream.

On the BeautyMint website, it doesn't seem like you can "choose your own" products, so to speak.  More products are set to launch next year, so hopefully in the future you can decide if you just want a few products, rather than the whole line.  The program has a 4 product system ($39.99) and a 5 product system ($49.99).

This is a new program, so I'm thinking in the future we can look forward to some great things from BeautyMint.

Have you heard of or tried out BeautyMint?  What is your experience with the company and product?

I'm obviously not a skincare expert, but the above post is just my own personal views and opinions on the product provided.  I wasn't paid to write this post and do not get any sort of referral credit if you sign up.

I have never heard of it but it sounds like a good regiment to try.

This is my second day of using the products morning and night. I love the way it makes my skin feel. I'm looking forward to see how the results are in just a week.
