The Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipstick that I have for you to see today is in the shade Biarritz (42).
This shade is absolutely gorgeous. Biarritz is described as a coppered beige, I think my skin tone and lip pigment in the swatches sort of peached it up a bit. All in all, the shade is perfection on my NW25 self. I don't think anyone could really go wrong with this shade, being that it's so light and can be layered as needed.
Obviously for a "shine" lip colour, the thick pigment isn't going to be there. It's not meant for that. A lipstick such as this is more of a "balm". The website states that it should last for 8 hours, I disagree... I'm lucky to get a couple of hours out of a product like this. Even if I just sit there and don't eat or drink my lips just sort of suck it all in. And, yes, I exfoliate and hydrate regularly. However, they do glide on beautifully and give off an air of luxury.
The feel and the shades of the Rouge Coco Shine collection are simply divine. I got the chance to play around with them all at the counter when I bought Biarritz. It was SO hard to pick one. There is definitely a shade there for everyone.
These actually remind me of the MAC Sheen Supreme Lipsticks, though I don't have an actual shade comparison to give you, the feel is the same.
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Creme Lip Colour retails for $32 and the full range is now available in store and online.

I love Rouge Coco Shine. The shades are beautiful and it was hard for me to choose which one I wanted. I went home with Boy, Liberte and Aventure in the end.
