Holy macanolyyyyy!!! (sorry, in times that I get excited, I channel Punky Brewster)
Today we had an pleasent and unexpected arrival! The Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume III!
Traveled from NYC to STL now to PITT (in a box big enough to ship a kid in haha and LOTS of wrapping)! Some of you may remember THIS post, where I announced that my bestie (Tracy from phibetafit.com) was in NYC at the exact moment of the Sephora Times Square launch of these palettes. She picked one up for each of us, mine being an EXTREMELY early birthday present. (like EXTREMELY early lol my bday isn't until November 13th! I guess we can start to celebrate now, though... since I will be turning DIRTY THIRTY! ahhhh).
Anywho, Tracy sent the palette early (she knew I'd be dying) because she loves me ;) and knows I am dying to swatch this for the blog. And, of COURSE, use the crap out of it. I can't keep anything pretty ;) use it all!
The palette is so awesome when it opens up, totally NYC (aka my fav place on Earth) and it lights up around the mirror!!! How cool is that? Sure, some of the shades show up in EVERY palette (cough.. Smog... cough), but all is FORGIVEN because they're all just so beautiful and FUN.

The Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. III will retail for $54 at urbandecay.com, Sephora, Macy's... basically anywhere you can get Urban Decay. I believe it will release within the next week or so. I read somewhere early September, but I can't find where I read that, at this time.
....and of course, Mr. Owen had his fun... BUBBLE WRAP! He loves him some big bubbles.
