OPI Miss Universe Collection Nail Polish Swatches and Review

This year, OPI has teamed up with the Miss Universe Pageant and created four stunning shades as their official nail sponsor. I've actually never watched the Miss Universe Pageant, but I plan to this year so I can look at their nails!

Congeniality Is My Middle Name
Congeniality Is My Middle Name is another variation of "that color" that seems to be released with every collection. A pretty, shimmery fuchsia, for sure... it wears nicely and is easy to apply. But it's likely if you've bought polishes at all this spring and summer you own something similar. For the swatch I used 3 coats.

It's My Year
It's My Year is likely one of my favorite polishes ever released by OPI. It's absolutely gorgeous with a purple base and a TON of gold shimmer. The gold is much more prominent in real life than it is in the picture. For the photo I used 3 coats.

Swimsuit...Nailed It!
Swimsuit...Nailed It! is such a POW in your face pop of blue. It has a blue base and a ton of blue glitter, and looks almost like a foil. Swimsuit is nice and thick, and was almost opaque in one coat, but I did need to add a second layer for the swatch photo. This polish is EXTRA staining, especially around the nail.

Crown Me Already
Crown Me Already totally looks like the tiara on top of your head. It's like a disco ball on your nails, and yes... it's totally different from Servin' Up The Sparkle. SUTS has a much more clear base, and has the holographic shimmer going on with it. CMA has a base of small silver glitter mixed in with larger hexagon glitters. I used one coat for the pinkie, two coats for the ring finger, three coats on the middle finger, and four coats on the pointer finger. Four coats is best with this unless you're layering.

Each swatch photo was taken using Sally Hansen Continuous Treatment Top and Base Coat.

All in all, I liked this collection much more in person than I did when I looked at swatch photos and promo pics online. My favorite is It's My Year, with Swimsuit...Nailed It! coming in second.
