FOTD w/ NARS Rajasthan

(pics are clickable if you want to see my face life size)

Today's big post was not intended to be a FOTD. I was really just playing around with NARS Rajasthan and decided... hey this looks ok lets post it. I actually did my eyeballs first (which I rarely do even tho I know thats bass aackwards) because I assumed I'd hate it and wipe it off. Not the case.

For this look I used:
~ L'Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base
~ MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer NW25
~ MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation NW25
~ Lancome Dual Finish Powder Matte Bisque II
~ MAC Taupe Brow Pencil
~ MAC Brow Set - Clear
~ Urban Decay Eyeliner in Zero
~ Dior Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum
~ MAC Plushlash Mascara in Black
~ MAC Shroom eye shadow (highlight)
~ NARS Rajasthan Eye Shadow Duo
~ NARS Soft Touch Shadow Pencil Goddess (inner corners of eye)
~ MAC By Candlelight MSF
~ MAC Prim & Proper Blush
~ MAC Stripdown lipliner
~ Dior Serum de Rouge in 710 Beige Serum
~ Brushes - MAC 168 (angled blush), MAC 209 (liner brush to sweep some of the forest teal shade overtop of Zero liner), MAC 272 (used for the inner area of the eye), MAC 227 (highlight), MAC 239 (outer area darker side of Raj), MAC 226 (used to blend the darker side of Raj into the crease), MAC 116 (for By Candlelight), & MAC 204 (for brow combing)

This NARS duo is really beautiful. I did it a little smokier today but I think the most common way to use this one, for me, will be to use the lighter shade as an all over wash and line with the darker shade. The shadows were nice and soft, especially the lighter side. Like buttah.

It's hard to justify the $32 price tag, but based off of the other NARS duo's I've tried, on a scale of 1 to 10 I give this one an 8. (With Kalahari being a 10 and Bellissima being a 1).

Bellissima is worth more than 1!!!!
BTW, your life size face pic is smaller than my hand = wow, tiny face!

Oh, the peacock side looks more brown on your lids?

Bellissima is a 1! And I'm being nice lol haha I have a shrunken head ;)

it does look more brownish on me huh? I probably blended over too much. It could be the camera too. You can see the teal more on the liner that I put over the black. Maybe I should try a different base?

Bellissima to me is about 7! :p
Was it peacock before you blended it though? Yeah I can see it as a liner in the last pic. Do you have bluish base?

it's peacock when I swatch it. I just have UDPP as a base. No blue bases here. I have Greenstroke PP tho. My cousin wants her makeup done again today so I may try this on her and see how it turns out lol
