Wet N Wild THE GILDED AGE Coloricon Eyeshadow Trio Swatches & Review

I had absolutely NO idea that Wet N Wild had released new products. I'm not on the ball with drugstore lovlies, apparently...

In any case, I went on a CP run to CVS for my AUS buddy Nat (yo, shout out) and, on that front, failed miserably. However, it was NOT a wasted trip! Right at the door was a small display of some new Wet N Wild! 3 bronzers and only ONE eye shadow trio remained. I grabbed up one of each, since I'm now a bronzer fiend and the eye shadow shades are my thang.

This particular post will be about the Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Trio in The Gilded Age:

Are you drooling yet? I still am!

The shades are ALL Summer on the beach. The bottom gold shade (marked for "lid") is unparalleled. I've never seen a gold shade quite like it with as much pigment that was just SO smooth. The other two shades are pretty dupeable, but do go well with the gold. The top shade (marked for "brow bone" is pretty frosty. Probably more-so than I would normally use for a highlight.

This Trio will likely work better with warmer tones, but the gold isn't brassy, so you may be able to get away mixing it with a cooler brown. Listen, just make this one work. You need it, go find it.

Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Trio's retail for $2.99 and are available at drugstores such as CVS, Rite-Aid (except mine because the display has literally been empty for a year straight), and Walgreens. Call to check on availability.
