I passed on Subtle Breeze (blue pink), and Early Morning (peachy pink) but I did pick up both for a friend, so staring at them is making me regret not purchasing for myself. They are really beautiful. A trip to the mall is in order ASAP.
What the MAC website has to say about Mineralize Blush:
Baked minerals refined into a powder formula to provide exceptionally sheer and lightweight application. Colour builds lightly, layer after layer, without heavy coverage. Veils and enhances the cheekbones with a luminous, pearlized shimmer.
3.2 g / 0.10 US oz
Fresh Honey (warm apricot) is an extremely pigmented peachy shade. I only had to tap my brush on top of the color and I had enough product on there for almost both cheeks.
Mineralize Blush always provides a nice amount of color, and this particular shade doesn't have a ton of shimmer, but rather a nice sheen. If you're looking for a nice, warm glow, Fresh Honey would be an excellent choice.
MAC Mineralize Blush retails for $22.00. Fresh Honey is Limited Edition to the MAC Naturally Collection. This collection is available at maccosmetics.com, MAC Stores, and counter locations. Click to view the official press release.
At first, it looked like a very natural, wearable (for me) peach, but "warm apricot" sounds a little too "warm" for me! I have to agree, MAC and NARS make some awesome blushes, my faves. I got the "Natually" mineralized shadows yesterday; wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteI can't pull off peach shades but this is gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this is such an adorable color on you!
ReplyDeleteI love Fresh Honey blush! It's going to be great this spring and summer for sure!
ReplyDeleteHow does this compare to utterly game blush?
ReplyDeleteIMO, Utterly Game leans a bit more peachy whereas Fresh Honey leans deeper and more orange. When I first used Fresh Honey, it actually reminded me of a more wearable/LESS orange NARS Gina
ReplyDeleteFresh Honey looks way too orange on me, which with my skin tone I thought it would look more peachy....sadly I was wrong!! I did get the new Laura Mercier cream colour blush in Innocent Peach and I love it :)
